The Public is informed that Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) has temporarily prohibited all drone flights within 3Km radius of the National Stadium and the University of Botswana from 1–4 May 2026. This  is done for the safety of the athletes and the public.

Only Media and Security Drones issued with clearances prior to 24th April 2026 will be exempted.
