Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Investment Consultants to support and advise clients on savings, as well as pre- and post-retirement planning. The role focuses on helping clients make informed decisions throughout their investment and retirement journey, ensuring financial security and peace of mind.
The successful candidate will
-Provide pre-retirement counselling, guiding clients on retirement readiness, benefit options, and financial planning strategies
-Advise clients on post-retirement income structuring and annuity management
-Support clients with ongoing financial adjustments to adapt to life changes and market conditions
-Manage an allocated client portfolio, ensuring proactive engagement and relationship management
-Prepare and present regular portfolio performance reports to clients
-Assist clients in building and maintaining sustainable investment and retirement strategies
Key Responsibilities
-Provide expert advice to annuity clients on pre- and post-retirement planning
-Conduct pre-retirement counselling sessions to prepare clients for retirement
-Develop tailored retirement income and investment strategies
-Support clients in selecting appropriate annuity products and structures
-Manage allocated client portfolios and ensure high service standards
-Review and adjust financial plans in response to life changes and market conditions
-Maintain ongoing, transparent communication with clients
-Conduct market research to support sound investment recommendations
-Prepare and deliver portfolio performance reports and insights to clients
Minimum Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
-Minimum 5 years experience
-CFP (Certified Financial Planner) qualification or progress toward it is advantageous
-2-3 years’ experience in a financial advisory or retirement planning role
-Experience managing client portfolios and reporting is advantageous
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to explain complex retirement concepts clearly
-Analytical thinking and sound decision-making skill

About the Role
NYG seeks a dynamic Project Officer to manage the daily operations of its Community Service Centre. The role includes programme implementation (60%) and monitoring & evaluation (40%), reporting to both the Programmes Officer and M&E Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Manage centre operations, data capture, supplies, and staff coordination.
Provide HIV testing and counselling, and client support services.
Implement integrated outreach programmes for HIV/SRH&R/NCD and GBV prevention, response and referrals.
Strengthen stakeholder partnerships and referral networks.
Monitor performance, ensure data quality, and prepare reports.
Supervise and mentor Community Health Workers.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Counselling, Psychology, Public Health, Health Promotion and Education, or a related field.
At least 2 years’ relevant experience in community or health programmes.
Experience supervising CHWs is desirable.
The HIV Testing (HTS) certificate is an added advantage.
M&E Certificate and experience with DHIS2 is an added advantage.
A driver’s license is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to analyse data and produce quality reports.
Knowledge of Botswana health, social systems and M&E processes.

About the Role
NYG is seeking a qualified HIV Testing Counsellor to deliver high-quality HIV
testing, counselling, and client support services at the Centre and through outreach programmes. Reports to the Project Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HIV testing and counselling in line with national guidelines.
Deliver pre- and post-test counselling and ensure confidentiality.
Offer adherence counselling and psychosocial support.
Facilitate referrals and follow-up (including treatment interrupter tracking).
Conduct outreach and health education (HIV, SRH, GBV, NCDs).
Maintain accurate data records and contribute to reports.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate in HIV testing
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in HIV testing or community health programmes.
Certificate/Diploma in Counselling, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field is an added advantage
Experience with community mobilization, demand creation and outreach is an added advantage.
Skills
Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.
Confidentiality and ethical practice.
Good communication and basic reporting skills.
